The first Teaching and Training Activity (TTA) of the Erasmus+ KA220-SCH project “AUTISMATH: Innovative Mathematics Activities and Applications for Children with Autism,” funded by the Turkish National Agency and coordinated by the Trabzon Provincial Directorate of National Education, was held in Guarda, Portugal, from 6 to 10 July 2026.

The first TTA was held in Guarda, Portugal, form 6 to 10 July 2026

Hosted by the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, the activity brought together project partners from Türkiye, Greece, Serbia, and Hungary.

As part of the activity, 18 game-based educational activity materials developed by experts and previously tested through preliminary pilot implementations were introduced to the project partners. Following the presentations, practical workshops were organised, during which each activity material was individually reviewed and comprehensively evaluated by all project partners in terms of its applicability, content, alignment with the targeted learning outcomes, and areas requiring further improvement.

The working and evaluation sessions provided valuable opportunities for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and good practices among the project partners. Participants shared their views and recommendations aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of the developed materials. Based on the feedback received from all partners, the necessary revisions will be carried out by experts and academics, and the activity materials will subsequently be finalised.

The five-day activity made a significant contribution to the collaborative evaluation and further development of the innovative educational materials produced within the scope of the project, as well as to the planning of the subsequent implementation phases.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda for providing a productive working environment and for their warm hospitality. We also wish continued success to all academics, teachers, and project partners who contribute to the successful implementation of the project.
